Gloria and Lauries came over today after church to fix our dinner. They loved wearing my two aprons.
They fixed meat and okra, and posho. Good thing we love okra ! It was really good the way they fixed it. |
They taught us how to make Sulu's ( a muslim treat that they make for celebrations). It is also called Daddie's It's made from flour, sugar, milk and eggs. |
Lauries making posho, which is corn flour stirred into boiling water. It's the bread part of the meal. |
Daddie's after they are cut and ready to deep fry. |
Frying the Daddie's |
This is how they look. They're very good. |
Hello there Woods family! Anna told me where I could find your blog. I don't know if the Ballstaedts told you or not, but they are from our ward. Nola, it is great to see you doing so well since the accident. Glad I can come look at your blog occasionally!
ReplyDeleteHi,I got a virus in Dec. on my computer and lost so much infomation. One was your blog and I was so bummed. I have been putting together a book for my mom and the family called "i'll see you in Heaven". Tracy had bought my Mom a little book of that title and I decided to put one together like it was coming from my Dad & Wendy. so I have been soo busy because of Christmas, not being able to get the book done, then new years so..... I ran into your son -in-law Bishop Price and finally got your blog again. just wanted to let you know how much I have missed seeing you. Love you lots! Patti
